Barron has performed and recorded with Hilton Ruiz, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Delmar Brown, Dave Liebman, Melton Mustafa, Mac Gollehon, Mario Riviera, Jerry Gonzalez, Steve Berrios, Carlos “Patato” Valdez and Mongo Santamaria, among others. Mac Gollehon, trumpeter with flawless intonation and range, has played on more than 1000 recordings. His solos can be heard on David Bowie’s Let’s Dance, Duran Duran’s Notorious, Billy Ocean’s Get Out Of My Dreams, and Grace Jones’ Inside Story. Gollehon has toured with rockers David Bowie, Hall & Oates and Duran Duran, as well as appearing with many prominent jazzers like Jon Faddis, Lew Soloff, Randy Brecker and Arthur Barron.

Delmar Brown, dynamic funk, blues, jazz and pop keyboard player who has recorded and performed with the likes of Sting, Bruce Springsteen, Peter Gabriel, Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Gil Evans, Pat Martino, Hiram Bullock, James Blood Ulmer and Arthur Barron.

Arthur Barron, jazz saxophonist, flutist, composer, bandleader and music educator, is a seasoned musician with a sound of his own, known for his intensely passionate playing and eclectic flare for musicial styles. Barron has played with Hilton Ruiz, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Delmar Brown, Dave Liebman, Melton Mustafa, Mac Gollehon, Mario Riviera, Jerry Gonzalez, Steve Berrios, Carlos “Patato” Valdez and Mongo Santamaria, among others. His main recordings to date have been Impressions with the Afro Blue Band on Milestone Records, along with Arthur Barron and Hilton Ruiz Footprints, Soul Messenger and Late Nite Time on the Dragon Rose Records label.

The late Hilton Ruiz is considered to be one of the greatest pianists in Latin and Straight Ahead jazz. He played with Freddie Hubbard, Pharoah Sanders, George Coleman, Joe Henderson, Frank Foster, Clark Terry, Charles Mingus, Betty Carter and Rahsaan Roland Kirk. Ruiz has mostly led his own groups since the early 80’s and has recorded prolifically throughout his career. His compositions appear on the soundtracks of the academy award winning “American Beauty” and Woody Allen’s, “Crimes and Misdemeanors.” Ruiz was awarded the Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for outstanding and invaluable service to the music community.

Jerry Gonzalez, multi-instrumentalist on trumpet, flugelhorn and congas, started his career as a congero with the Dizzy Gillespie band, and went on to perform and record with McCoy Tyner, Tony Williams, Kenny Dorham, Ray Barretto, Eddie Palmieri, Paquito D’Rivera, Tito Puente and Machito. Gonzalez has received his greatest recognition as the bandleader of the Fort Apache Band, which won Jazz Album of the Year by the Academie Du Jazz in France for Crossroads and a Grammy nomination for Rumba Para Monk.

Dave Liebman, legendary jazz saxophonist and educator, is a Grammy nominee, perennial winner of Down Beat magazine best soprano saxophone pool awards and has received an Honorary Doctorate Of Music from Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland (the first ever given to a jazz artist). He is best known for his work with Elvin Jones, Miles Davis and Chick Corea. In addition to performing and recording with his own group, Liebman was a member of the Tenor Summit band with Michael Becker and Joe Lavano.
